5/2007:
Imelda Leon has joined the Index Fasteners team. Imelda has
over 15 years of fastener experience covering virtually every major
industry. Imelda will focus her expertise and experience within
the sales team assisting existing customers and acquisition of new
accounts. Imeldašs longevity in the industry makes her a huge asset
to Index and wešre glad to see that she chose Index Fasteners as

4/2007:
Rachael Borst has taken over the position of ISO coordinator
and internal auditor. Along with her Inside Sales Assistant position
here at Index Fasteners Rachael will be conducting all Internal/External
audits, Review and Performance reports, Quality and Procedures manuals,
ISO Customer Requirements and Feedback concerning ISO 9002 requirements.
Rachael has worked as an ISO assistant coordinator at Index over
the last year and has definitely earned the promotion to ISO 9002

11/2006:
Index now provides a reasonably priced Electric Foot Press for smaller
budget applications. Not every customer can spend $10,000 on an
Electric press and we now have a solution for those customers. The
FEFP-1 press is versatile in setting Grommet/Eyelet and Snap applications
for smaller runs with the ease of a fully electric operation. At
under $2,000 you'll be hard pressed to find a machine capable of
doing what this workhorse can. Please ask your sales person about

8/2006:
Growing requires more room and Index is once again starting new
office construction. Index will be adding several new offices, a
new spacious conference room, and some resource rooms for IT and
Sample/Prototype setting.
7/2006:
Anessa Sandoval is the newest addition to the Index team. Anessa
has worked in the fastener industry for 10 years most recently with
Endries Int. Anessa will be handling Sales and Expediting. Wešre
thrilled to have her on board!
5/2006:
Although Index has been selling various standard and non-standard
"Nuts and Bolts" for some time, we now have some basic info on the
site. Due to the vast selection and demand in the various markets
Index deals with we have started slow in the addition of specifications
of these parts to the website. As we plug along in the coming months
of 2006 we hope to have more precise links on the website that will
direct customers to specific types of these products along with
all the relevant dimensions and materials they are available in.
In the meantime please check out the links on these products.
4/2006:
Index is now stocking a wide variety of Security Screws or commonly
known as "Tamperproof" screws in several security head variations
including these standard variations below. Information along with
specification charts should be available on the site very soon.

3/2006:
Spacers and Standoffs are now readily available in various standard
sizes. Most commonly stocked in Aluminum they are also available
in Stainless and Brass base materials along with a wide variety

2/2006:
The RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive 2002/95/EC
(January 27, 2003) by the European Union states that from July 1,
2006 new electrical and electronic equipment must be free of lead,
mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls
(PBBs) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs). In conjunction
with the WEEE (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment) Directive
2002/96/EC (January 27, 2003), the purpose of these actions is "to
contribute to the protection of human health and the environmentally
sound recovery and disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment."
Index Fasteners Inc is committed to providing
RoHS compliant fasteners. We are eager to work with you to identify
any non-compliant parts and transition them to conform to this new
environmentally friendly initiative. Through proactive planning
and collaboration, many of our current customers are already becoming
compliant before the expected July 1, 2006 goal as established by
the European Union.

2/2006:

10/2005:
Michelle Krasch has been added to a newly created Expediting and
Sourcing position. In an effort to relieve Inside/Outside sales
personnel from expediting and sourcing product IFI has created a
position to do exactly that. Michelle will expedite all Vendor purchase
orders along with sourcing product for the Inside/Outside sales
staff. This will create a much more efficient and time managed sales
force. Michelle will also assist the Inside sales force with confirmations
on customer P.O.'s. We're happy to welcome Michelle to the team.

07/2005:
Jessie Hutchison is added as IFI's new ISO 9002 coordinator. Jessie
will be managing and maintaining all Internal/External audits, Review
and Performance reports, Quality and Procedures manuals, ISO Customer
Requirements and Feedback. Jessie has an extensive background in
customer support, If you or your customer is in need of Manufacturer's

06/2005:
Index Fasteners becomes an authorized Scovill dealer. After many
years of strictly Industrial Fastener sales Index Fasteners began
to expand it horizons to the Textile/Apparel market in early 2000.
Taking on the YKK/Universal Fastener line to accommodate this new
market in early 2003 was just one step in the right direction. Scovill
Fasteners, the parent company of our DOT fastener line was another
target for Index, and now we can provide the factory direct pricing
our customers require along with off the shelf stock. Please check
out our new addition of Scovill Fasteners and the full line of products
on the home page.
05/2005:
Jessie Hutchison has been added in the Quality Assurance department
and will be handling ISO, Non-Conformance, and Improvement issues
within Index Fasteners. Jessie will be the new lead contact for
Vender/Customer discrepancies, RMA's and internal Non-Conformance
issues. Jessie's background makes her a perfect candidate for this
position and she will be training over the next few months to help

04/2005:
Index Fasteners becomes a Kanebridge distributor! Index Fasteners
has been authorized as a Kanebridge distributor and will now have
access to their over 23,000 items with 97% in stock and shipped
same day. This is yet another step to diversify and expand IFI's

3/2005:
Carlos Santiago adds to the Index collection of experienced, motivated,
and knowledgeable sales engineers. Carlos brings with him over 14
successful years as a sales engineer in the commercial and industrial
fastener industry and he is a great asset to the team. Carlosšs
main focus will be utilizing his experience in the Tinnerman/Palnut
industrial lines and will target new OEM (original equipment manufacturers)
business in the electronic and automotive fields.
10/2004:
Index increases it's Buckle hardware lines. Index has recently extended
its Buckle, D/O Ring, Slides, Loop and Clasp hardware lines in both
metal and plastic to better serve the hardware industry. We have
released reserve capital to help stock these products and the new
product info will be available shortly on the web. Please call on
any of these items if you do not see relative information on the
website.
08/2004:
Danny Lineiro joins the Index team! Danny brings over five years
of outside sales engineering experience to the Index Fasteners group
and we're glad to have him on board. Danny will provide his sales
engineering experience which will cover the textile, marine, banner
and canvas industries in the California territory. Danny's main
focus will be in the snap fastener and grommet/washer application
area's and keep IFI on track as the #1 supplier in California.
04/2004:
Index Fasteners starts it's ISO 9001:2000 conformance process. Due
to industry demand IFI will begin it's 4-6 month conformity process
to become ISO certified. This will ensure easier relations within
the automotive, aerospace and similar industries which demand these
processes from their suppliers. "Basically we have 95% of the quality
processes already in place, it's just a matter of putting them down
on paper and following through with the ISO organization requirements",
said Brian Haines Sales Manager of Index Fasteners Inc. IFI hopes
to have all ISO 9001:2000 conformity programs assessed, active and
certified before the end of November 2004.
03/2004:
Index Fasteners Inc. breaks through to the manufacturing world.
Index Fasteners Inc. is in the development stage of an in house
CNC manufacturing division. This division would produce dies and
die components along with textile machinery equipment. Index Fasteners
sister company (RPM's Big Bore) has just purchased two brand new
CNC machines that would be capable of delivering the demand for
these products nationwide.
02/2004:
Index delivers! With customer demand comes IFI's new local delivery
service. Index Fasteners now delivers to most of the Los Angeles,
Orange and San Bernardino Counties with same day service available
on most orders.

1/16/2004:
Sean Leach joins the IFI team. Sean will be a new inside sales contact
as well as assistant manager for all warehouse operations. Sean
has many years experience in warehouse operations, inventory management,
JIT inventory, pick and pull procedures etc.and he will be a great
addition to the IFI staff.
12/15/2003:
Index begins negotiations with YKK America. YKK America needs no
introduction as the premier supplier around the world for zippers
and hook & loop products. IFI is now working on becoming the west

12/01/2003:
Index Fasteners Inc. begins construction on it's new offices! As
Index grows so does it's need for larger office space. Index has
contracted a 2 month construction plan to build four new offices
for inside office personnel which will be utilized for accounting
as well as inside/outside sales representatives.
10/2003:
On 10-28-03 Shane Bearly the current IFI General Manager was named
Vice President of Index Fasteners Inc.
08/2003:
Chris Vansant has been added as the new accounting manager. Chris
will be handling all accounting issues with general accounts and
she will be a great asset to the company.
06/2003:
Shannon Dobias has been added as a new inside sales contact. Shannon
will be handling initial sales calls for new customer contacts,
and Index is proud to have her on the team.
05/2003:
Index Fasteners Inc. is named authorized west coast distributor
for AEC products. Index has been one of the largest suppliers in
the nation for AEC for over 15 years and is proud to be recognized
as a leading supplier.
04/2003:
Brian Haines has been added to the growing Index team as the new
sales manager. Brian has several years experience in managing the
automotive field and Index is proud to have him on board.
01/2003:
